Chain link activity: Eat waffles for breakfast.
Last night I was going to bed late (for me), and just before I clicked off my light, my white noise stopped working on my phone--and it was Ben and Victor calling to FaceTime! It was good to see their faces and hear their voices. Funny enough, they thought it was the middle of the afternoon for us, not 10:30pm. :) (The night had a few additional interruptions, so I was thankful that today was not overly taxing.)
This morning we had waffles for breakfast, per the chain, and then the kids did their normal Saturday-morning room refresh (sheets to the wash, pick up the floor, and vacuum). Josiah attended a birthday party, and the rest of us did a Walmart pickup, played, organized school papers, went for a run, worked on lit homework, planted the new plants, jerry-rigged a chicken wire fence, made pizza, had baths/showers, and then finished the movie Madagascar before the bedtime reading of Psalm 124.
Prayer requests: Peaceful sleep for all, smooth travel for quick trip to Iowa tomorrow to Tuesday, and fruitful ministry for the PNGers as Ben preaches and they facilitate a youth group time
