It's good that God gives us opportunities to continue growing in faith, because (comfort lover that I am) I probably would just sit tight and cozy in self-confidence if it were up to me.
Victor is struggling with Cold #3 of the last 6 weeks. It started again with the cough, and we're thinking he's once again fighting an ear infection (already has had 3 different antibiotics). So far, it hasn't accelerated as far as last time, and I'm hoping we can avoid a trip to the doctor this time. Please pray for good sleep, restored strength and health, and discernment for how to care for him. And that I would be able to sleep also.
I think I'm staying a little more buoyant and peaceful this time around. So the Lord is indeed at work.
Ben is in the thick of his last month of student teaching, and it's pretty intense. Also looking to transition into his new work position later this month, so thanks for praying for God's strong arms to bear him through this intense season too.
...you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many. (2 Cor 1:11).
Looking forward to how God will show Himself strong on our behalf. And loving that we are a part of a huge family of believers who also will pray for us.
(The "resurrection paradigm" mentioned from a few weeks ago is a great encouragement.)
